An abstract black, white, and gray digital artwork with horizontal lines and flowing shapes.

A project born from a reflective exercise in my street photography work taken from 1124 to 0225.

Shifts in my working life provided the opportunity for reflection, curation, and reassessment of a purely creative outlet. This collection emerged from a period of transition and a positive confrontation and assessment of my work.

As I looked through the last 6 months of stills, I noticed recurring themes of derealization, expressed through increasingly surreal imagery. I recognise this as an attempt to find control within the inherent unpredictability of street photography, which initially felt like staring into the void, but now comes from a place of curiosity and enjoyment.
